If you want to create a strong, aesthetic, functional back that deserves a PG-13 rating, the Big Boy Back program is the perfect fit.
This program contains BOTH weighted and calisthenics movements. You will be doing, for the majority, 3 sets of each workout, which is the ideal range to stimulate the muscle while maintaining functionality. Focus on using weights that are challenging enough so that you are staying closer to the lower end of the rep range. This gives you room to grow.
Not too much aesthetic focus, not too much power focus, but the fine line between that will give you the best of both worlds.
