Mental Transmutation for Goal Setting: How to Turn Your Dreams into Reality

Mental Transmutation for Goal Setting: How to Turn Your Dreams into Reality

The mind is the only thing we truly have power over.

As someone who has gone through a lot of shit (to put it bluntly), I understand the power of the mind and its ability to manifest our deepest desires.

Struggle and pressure are what molds us. Like turning coal into diamond.

Mental transmutation is a powerful tool that allows us to harness the power of our thoughts, beliefs, and emotions to create the life we desire. It's what I live by. It's what I use on all of my socials to help people think differently, feel differently, and therefore TAKE DIFFERENT ACTIONS that will effect the course of their life.

The best thing about it? It's free.

So how do you do this...

Well firstly, you want to zoom out from your situation for a minute. You probably have a certain situation on your mind as you read this. Remember, emotions come AFTER thoughts. So to change your thoughts, you have to separate from the emotions attached.

Pretend you're in the 3rd person looking at yourself.

What is the desired outcome you want? Are you currently aligned with that outcome in mind, body, and spirit?

Most likely not, and that okay.

We'll use one of my personal stories to help you innerstand. For me, I had gone through a deep depression for about a year and a half in 2019-2020.

This came after separating from football (my athletic, ego based identity my entire life) and going through an unexpected breakup.

Basically, my entire sense of who I was, was gone.

I was rotting away in my college bedroom marinating in my own self loathing. Lol. Gross.

Things changed when I finally had enough and zoomed out from my situation. A few truths I had to come to terms with:

1. I had wasted so much time.

2. My life hadn't changed.

3. Life was passing me by.

Or, was it?

Maybe, just maybe, it was the time I needed to find myself again.

Maybe it was the time I needed to cultivate love for myself.

I wanted to change, so I realized my actions needed to change.

Without that time, I never would've had the time to realize that it was me causing this.

That was the moment that, although it sounds like it could be bad, was actually good.

It means that I, Mason Kuhr, am the one who's in control of my actions.

That was empowering.

That was the proof I needed to take back control of my life. If I can make life bad, I can also make it good!

So, what did I do?

I decided to switch my thoughts. I basically did the opposite, using the universal law of polarity

I did things on the OPPOSITE end of the spectrum.

I thought differently. Instead of rotting away, I decided (key word) that I was mentally and spiritually prepping for this moment.

But you really have to allow yourself to see it that way. That's why we separate emotions, to open room for objectivity.

This is also a form of meditation and contemplation, and adopting a daily meditation practice makes this easy.

In that moment, I had rewritten the past. When you rewrite the past, you rewrite the present.

When you rewrite the present, you can rewrite the future.

This is what allowed me to start taking the actions that aligned with where I wanted to go instead of where I've been. I wanted to have a purpose like I felt in football, and I wanted to empower myself.

I just needed steps to get there.

*Goal setting enters the chat*

When it comes to goal setting, mental transmutation is a game changer. It empowers us to break free from limiting beliefs, overcome fear and self-doubt, and turn our dreams into reality.

The first step in mental transmutation is to identify any limiting beliefs that may be holding you back from achieving your goals. These could be thoughts such as "I'm not good enough" or "I'll never be able to afford that." By recognizing these limiting beliefs and replacing them with empowering thoughts, you can begin to shift your mindset and open yourself up to new possibilities.

I recommend getting a good journal and writing these down. Not only will it give you clarity, but it will separate them from you. Switch these beliefs into the ones you do want. Think of your journal as an extension of your mind that you can carry around.

Visualization is another key component of mental transmutation. This technique involves using your imagination to create vivid mental images of yourself achieving your goals. By visualizing yourself as if you have already achieved your goal, you can start to attract the resources and opportunities you need to make it a reality. This is because when you can see it, feel it, and believe it, you can make it happen.

Another important aspect of mental transmutation is the use of affirmations. These are positive statements that you repeat to yourself on a daily basis in order to reprogram your mind. Examples of affirmations for goal setting could be "I am capable of achieving my goals" or "I am surrounded by abundance and prosperity." Remember, you become what you focus on, so make sure to choose your affirmations wisely. In addition to these techniques, it's also important to take action towards your goals. You can also frame them as possibilities. It IS possible to see things that way. Even if you don't see it now.

I utilized all of these methods to align myself to a jacked, fulfilled, and purposeful version of myself. After an absolutely insane 12 week transformation of habit stacking, which I messed up a ton by doing to many too fast and finally slowing down to solidify each one, I ended up with a solid result of what I wanted.

I accomplished my goal with changing my mind and taking actions that went with these new beliefs.

I felt great about myself.

I felt confident.

And you can do the same.

Mental transmutation can help you change your thoughts and beliefs, but it's also important to take practical steps towards achieving your goals. This could include setting up a plan, taking small steps towards your goal, and surrounding yourself with supportive people (I didn't have this last one, and that's what The Stampede Network was eventually created around).

By taking action, you are aligning your thoughts and beliefs with the reality you see in your mind..

It is also important to mention, that mental transmutation is not a one-time thing. It's a continuous process that requires daily practice, patience, and persistence. It takes time and effort to change your thoughts and beliefs, but the rewards are worth it.

In conclusion, mental transmutation is a powerful tool for goal setting, and it can help you turn your dreams into reality.

By identifying limiting beliefs, visualizing your goals, using affirmations and taking action towards your goals, you can change your thoughts and beliefs and create the life you desire.

Remember, you are the master of your own mind, and with mental transmutation, you can harness the power of your thoughts to create the life you desire. So start today (right now!) to see the changes in your life.

This is you call to wake up to your full potential. Start this very moment.
